Sperry Searchlight Recovery Project
Your museum association has purchased a 60" M1941 Sperry Searchlight

This light is the same type used at Fort MacArthur by Battery K during the Second World War. Included with the searchlight is the original trailer as well as the 1940 General Electric power unit. Once fully restored this searchlight will be one of the most outstanding artifacts in the Museum's collection. Association volunteer Bob Meza has experience in this type of restoration and is moving ahead nicely with this project.
