California's Gold #6005
In February 2004 the Fort MacArthur Museum reached a new milestone
with a visit from Huell Houser for a taping of The Great Los
Angeles Air Raid of 1942. This exciting re-creation of one of the
most controversial events in Los Angeles history is expertly
captured as part of Huell's famous California's Gold television
series.
The California's Gold shows feature our State's rich history,
cultural diversity, natural wonders, and amazing people. Shown on
all PBS affiliates in California, the program is endorsed by a
number of organizations including: the California Teachers
Association; California State Library Foundation; California
Library Association; California School Boards Association;
California Council for the Social Studies; and the California
Historical Society. |
